HOW CAN ACUPUNCTURE HELP?

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are powerful tools to affect positive change in a person's health, enabling the body to activate its innate ability to heal. Acupuncture is a proven method of re-establishing health and can be used to treat a wide range of health conditions including digestive disorders, hormone imbalance, and menstrual cycle irregularities, insomnia, stress, and anxiety. From a holistic perspective acupuncture's health-promoting effects are achieved by its ability to calm the central nervous system, allowing the body to function most effectively and efficiently, eliminating inflammation, pain, and generalized stress.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE?

Chinese herbal medicine has been used as primary care treatment by more than half of the world’s population for over 2000 years and is currently the most widely used medical system in the world. When used responsibly by trained practitioners, Chinese herbal medicine can resolve a wide range of health issues and restore health and balance to the individual.

Here are some key points to consider when deciding to take a Chinese herbal formula that may be prescribed for you:

  • Herbs are assimilated by the body similar to food, and therefore work gently and gradually to provide relief
  • Adverse reactions, or side effects, to Chinese herbal medicine are negligible (especially in comparison to pharmaceuticals)
  • Herbs used are purchased from suppliers who routinely test for heavy metals and toxins and who purchase their products from certified GMP facilities
  • Each formula can be tailored to the individual, increasing its overall effectiveness and ensuring optimal results

To your health and longevity!
